New York, New York - At a private fundraiser “Conquistador Cuomo” defended Christopher Columbus who enslaved 500 Taino people while promising as Mayor to move Indigenous Peoples’ Day in favor of celebrating their enslaver. Even more damning for Cuomo, the footage uncovered by the DREAM campaign was revealed to have been shot at a fundraiser that featured a celebrity chef accused of enslaving her employees as a “special guest.”
