Final Results: 54% of voters Don’t Rank Cuomo. DREAM worked.
DREAM trounces Cuomo as 526,472 New Yorkers left Cuomo off ballots
New York, New York - The final results of the Democratic primary released by the New York City Board of Elections today show that a majority of NYC voters followed the DREAM (Don’t Rank Evil Andrew for Mayor) strategy, with 54% (526,472) not ranking him.The disgraced former governor announced last week that he will actively run in the general election, despite recent polls showing voters don’t want him or Eric Adams to be mayor.
Said the DREAM campaign: “The Don’t Rank Evil Andrew for Mayor campaign launched with two goals: ensure New Yorkers don’t rank Andrew Cuomo for Mayor, and align the field of candidates against him instead of each other. Today’s results show historic success on both counts, with 54% (526,472) of voters not ranking Cuomo, and 54% of Lander votes going to Mamdani (vs 21% to Cuomo).
As Andrew Cuomo, Eric Adams, and their billionaire backers continue their efforts to subvert the democratic process and buy out the general election, let these results remind them that they are no match for New Yorkers, who will make sure the next stage of the DREAM will haunt their nightmares even further.”
