NEW YORK, NY - A new independent expenditure launched today opposing Eric Adams’ campaign for re-election: DREAM (Don’t Rank Eric Adams for Mayor). The campaign debuted with the first of a series of merch drops meant to help wearers “tell 100% of New Yorkers what 90% of New Yorkers think,” a DREAM baseball cap.
“The country’s most scandal-plagued mayor may seem cooked already.” said the campaign in a statement. “But if there’s one thing Eric Adams knows how to do, it’s keep the party going long after the neighbors have called the cops. Don’t let him linger around like a wet fart. Don’t rank him.”
The “Don’t Rank Eric Adams” Is the first DREAM drop in a planned multi-channel media campaign to make sure the 90% of NYC voters who prefer non-Adams candidates understand that in the city’s ranked choice voting system, the only way to prevent Adams from getting their vote is to leave him off the ballot entirely, rather than ranking him low.
